Have a good day and better 4th of July

I’m currently putting together 2 blog post that I think everyone will find interesting, but for the moment I’m waiting on a few more questions to be answered. So then, go check out these two post on Sally Kern, I found one interesting (check the WynnBlog) and the other quite funny (from Irritated Tulsan).

If you are wanting to have your head spin a little, go check out Mr. Roemerman lastest post on “My Tulsa City Council Database.” Either he is really smart, or has too much time on his hands. :)

Hello, World!

Ok, so the site has been up for a bit and I am finally seeing the results in Google when I search for TulsaPolitico.com. I  have just invited you and other people to check out the site and make some suggestions on what you would like to see as far as resources and information. I am currently in the process of trying to get all the candidates that are running for a municipal office in Tulsa on the Local Candidates page. If you know of someone who is running and would like for me to list them here, please go to the contact form and let me know.

I haven’t been doing a lot of blogging because there are so many other things I’m trying to gather in terms of information about Tulsa politics. I already have some things for you to view, so when you get a chance check out the wall of mayors and the forum (to get some good healthy debate going ).

Up and kind of running

Well, this website has been an idea of mine for a while and I am finally getting it started. Today I picked out the theme, did a few modifications and I’m now trying to get some backend duties completed. I thought putting a website like this together would have been much easier, but I’m finding that the most difficult part in doing a site like this is creating the structure of the content. I figure if I set up a good foundation now, it’ll be easier to manage later. We’ll see how that goes.
